Our Team
Qualifications: Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Neil began training to be a Chartered Accountant in 1969 at an independent firm in Nottingham serving the SME market. After qualification he decided to further his audit experience and moved to an international firm in Birmingham. In 1976 he moved back to the independent sector and joined Marsh & Moss in 1979. Since his appointment as partner in 1981 Neil has built up a wealth of experience in advising owner managed clients and has particular specialism in manufacturing, engineering and motor vehicle franchises. Qualifications: Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation Martin began his training in 1987 at an independent firm based in Leicester before moving to Marsh & Moss in 1990. His qualification as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1992 coincided with progressing to audit manager within the firm. In 1996 Martin was appointed as a partner and has since qualified as a Chartered Tax Advisor. He now enjoys advising a diverse range of clients within the commercial and not for profit sectors. When not at work Martin enjoys cycling and running. Email: Martin@marshandmoss.co.uk Robert Grimley Robert joined the practice in 1989. During his time at Marsh and Moss Robert has worked within the areas of accounts preparation, audit and taxation. These days Robert specialises in tax and acts as the firm’s taxation advisor assisting the entire team where specialist knowledge is required. Email: Robert@marshandmoss.co.uk Julie Chapman Qualifications: Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Julie joined the practice in 1984 as a student and has since qualified. Julie heads Neil’s audit team, and works very closely with him in advising his small and medium clients. Over the years she has built invaluable personal relationships with clients and now manages a portfolio of audit and smaller owner managed business clients. Email: Julie@marshandmoss.co.uk Craig Emmerson Qualifications: Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants Craig joined the practice in 1994 as a student and has since qualified. Since 2002 he has headed Martin’s team. Craig has overall responsibility for a portfolio of both audit and non-audit clients and advises on all aspects of taxation and compliance matters. The ladies on reception are always helpful and every effort is made to ensure enquiries are directed to the right people in a timely manner. Our team is always willing to help, be it a technical tax or accounting matter or some general business advice when needed. We pride ourselves on our friendly and helpful approach, and endeavor to provide an efficient service to all of our clients alike. |
